Fueling for the sport of life

Julia Trifan MS, RD

Hi, I’m Julia! I’m a registered dietitian with a passion for empowering individuals through personalized, evidence-based nutrition. With expertise in life cycle nutrition, my mission is to help people build sustainable habits and thrive at every stage of life.

I earned a Master of Science in Nutrition Science from Boston University and completed my clinical training at a Level 1 trauma and safety-net hospital in Boston, MA. Drawing from my strong foundation and ongoing work in clinical research, I integrate the latest advancements in nutrition science to create strategies that address each client’s unique physiological and lifestyle needs.

My journey in healthcare and nutrition is shaped by my background in sport. From playing basketball in middle school to discovering powerlifting and now training for triathlons, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for strength, resilience, and the joy of movement. This winner’s mindset—pushing past barriers to achieve elite results—guides my approach as a dietitian. I strive to help clients become the best version of themselves through a holistic, individualized, and evidence-based approach that meets them where they are.

Whether optimizing nutrient timing for an experienced runner aiming for a PR or supporting a mother through pregnancy and postpartum challenges, my approach combines compassion with cutting-edge science. My key areas of focus include metabolic and hormonal health, disordered eating prevention, and GI disorder symptom management.

I believe in the power of understanding our bodies and fueling them to align with our goals and values. My goal is to change the narrative around health and nutrition, empowering individuals to feel strong, capable, and confident in their own journey.
